I know that the popular career counsellor Jarus started here!! And grew his followership! Once upon a time, there used to be iyaniwura! He/She was doing pretty well here, and had potentials of becoming a huge blogger, but suddenly he/she stopped posting. So, my question is, has any musician, writer, blogger etc become famous from growing his/her following/fanbase from here? Has Nairaland made anybody a Real-life Celeb before? |

wizzie001: Lol. Seun doesn't mug for the cameras, so, outside Nairaland and the social media cycle, the name Seun Osewa doesn't ring a bell. I can swear that some peeps on nairaland don't even know the guy!!  But we love him still. Sincerely, Seun deserves a National Merit Award. He is up there among the likes of Chimamanda Adichie, Asa, etc. But I guess Seun isn't interested in such frivolities. |

yes, but it depends on how the individual follows it up.....There was dis kiddy guy that won the skelewu dance competition....He is/ was a nairalander. not hearing about the guy again  ....and also sexkillz the dictactor.. (one moderator like that wey show nigg'as shege) |

I recently met Vector in a studio and tried reminding him of his days on Nairaland, he didnt't actually deny, he also called one other less popular rapper too..according to him to battled a lot here, i've forgotten the guy's name...but a thread about that guy hit the frontpage last year. People called that dude 'wack' back then, but right now, he's flexing alongside to cats in Naija's hiphop though he is less popular, wish i could remember his name also Notjustok's Lalaboiy used to be active here....even Mercy Johnson once used here, though not active. |
