You might want to try Yahoo Answers for that one.

The movie is 'Tut and Turtle'. The Egyptian boy king is Tut (Tutuankhamun) and the boy's surname is Turtle. Hope that helps. Loved the movie too.

Sorry to derail this thread but I'd like to know the
title of a certain movie I say way back as a kid ,
It involved a kid who got transported to ancient
Egypt with the aid of a pyramid looking object , he
was wearing a baseball or American football
helmet ( can't remember which ). He met a little
princess who later got transported back to
present times. I can't remember the full story.

The movie is 'Tut and Turtle'. The egyptian prince was Tut (Tutuankhamun) and the boy was surnamed Turtle.

Threads as such as this are precious and vital to remembering how wonderful the past was, our childhood days when tv shows and moves were
more accepted and cherished more than the present day. So I am using this opportuinity to appeal to thread derailers, it would do no good to anyone trying to derail this thread. If you have a movie that is not listed on someones list, you can kindly post yours and let people see, not quoting and saying you didnt this, you didnt that'.

Anyway i love the op' list, most especially the indian movie, the most emotional movie amongst the indian movies is Mard!!, oh my i cired my eyes out.

Here is my own list:

Dark of the Sun / The Mercenaries
splash
snake in the monkey shadow
Dharmendra
Death Warrant
too young to die
The Wizard of Oz
The Godfather (1972)
ikoto orun

will add more later

Since remaking old movies seems to be a trend now, I wish they would remake some of the old SiFi movies now with all the cool special fx of today. That would be an interesting thread. "What old movies would you like remade?" also "what television series would you like made into a movie?"
1. tweety bird. call me an incorigible cartoonist. but seriously, dat would be an interesting. faster pace, better sounds n visual et al
