If take back 31 years means; 1.Complete re-orientation about corruption, and reducing corruption to bare minimum 2. Improvement in budget implementation from 25% to atleast more than 80% 3. Transparency and accountability in running government functions 4. Improving our dependability on importation of petroleum products. 5.improvement in security and tackling boko haram issue head on 6.improvement in foreign policies, with high probability of retaining our top spot as giant of Africa 7. Having a principled, incorruptible, passionate and patriotic personality running Nigeria 8. System where merit, competency and hardwork becomes the norm, while we do away with nepotism and incompetence. If that's what taking back 31 years will look like...then im all for it. A vote for PDP is a vote for corruption and maladministration. OP look at your life, in the 21st century, you are still screaming "UP NEPA" at the sight of power. In this 21st century, you're still trying to avoid pot holes while you drive. In the 21st century, you cannot boast of portable water in your home, you probably drink from a hole you bore in your compound. In the 21st century, you have to build a very tall wall around your house with razor barbed wire or broken bottles on top of the fence to give you a sense of security. In the 21st century, while other nations are boasting of free health care and cheap health insurance premium for its citizenry, you have to sell your TV and gadgets before you can afford to send your dying mother to the hospital (Just a general instance). Are you not tired of the way your life is being run by these selfish cult who has vowed to strangle Nigeria of every developmental program by any means necessary for the past 16 years? My father has waited for a better Nigeria, he is getting old now, he has never experienced 24/7 power supply, he has never felt safe without the tall fence and big gate that surrounds his house, I don't think he knows what health insurance is even, he probably doesn't know that one can get clean drinkable water directly from the tap, perhaps he thinks the distance from Mile 2 to Oshodi takes at least 4 hours. It will be unwise and a grave disservice to the future of this nation if we continue waiting for a better Nigeria under the PDP led Government. 16 years is enough for any Government to provide power, water, good health care package, accessible road networks, quality education and security. PDP has shown over the years that they care not about the people but for the interest of their party and the prosperity of their bank account. PDP has failed us woefully. I'll vote for anybody but PDP. Put a goat on the ballot and see how many Nigerians will gladly vote for a goat than waste their vote on some unrepentant kleptomaniacs. Btw before the “Progressives” masturbate on my post, Buhari is a No-No for me. He was among the people who destroyed this country and he’s too old to lead this generation. He should retire honorably because this world is out of his league, too fast for him. APC should field a young, vibrant and technical candidate if they want to win votes. Buhari and Atiku candidature is a pointless exercise in futility. Go figure! 1 Like |

Maybe that's what Nigeria needs. Maybe then we can correct IBB's SAP fraud, make sure no more Abacha, make sure some Abiolas didn't sponsor coup and or launder money for African despots, make sure our leaders are shielded from ever interacting with the CIA, IMF and co. Wouldn't that just be nice? |

There are two ways of making money! You work hard and make money or you steal it. Stealing is a crime! There are two ways of getting power! You work hard and win an election or you stage a coup! Coup is not just a crime but treason! Buhari is worse than a criminal! |

buhari will only win a presidential election in an arewa country; not in nigeria too many people are afraid of his worldview, which is essentially a fulani 19th century worldview. even some of leading northern politicians are afraid of him. lol imagine what will happen to the akikus and the babangidas if buhari enters aso rock. i don't even trust him to hand over power at the end of his term, whether 4 or 8 years! |

once a military dictator, always a military dictator. and when that dictator is from a chauvinistic religious culture, the dictatorship tendencies are bound to multiply exponentially. even general obasanjo from a progressive section of the country schemed to stay put after 8 years. now imagine a general from the most conservative part of the country handing over after 8 years! haha, joke of the century. but my consolation is that he will never win a presidential election in nigeria, even if his VP is Jesus christ himself! |
