In the wake of an unacceptable defeat of the super eagles (as many would call them) by the Sudanese national team, a lot of questions are being asked by Nigerians regarding the future of coach Stephen keshi and his backroom staffs. After a fair display at the just concluded world cup, Nigerians anticipated quite a lot of improvements in the team but this isnt turning out just as expected.
A team that boast of being Africa’s defending champion has not been able to record maximum three point against lowly rated opponents in the race for Africa’s most prestigious football competition to be hosted by Morocco next year. This isn’t a good sign of things to come. Its about time the coach and his entire team be questioned? What happened to the team that filed out for the world cup ? Where are our African champions? We hear of Nigerians doing well in their respective leagues, is it that hard for them to reciprocate it in their national side? Nigerians want to know?
