I've been trudging NL for a martial arts thread for a while and I'm yet to come across one.

I'm a martial arts enthusiast, simply fell in love with the gracefulness of the art and promptly signed up for Wushu at the very first opportunity I got (On my university campus FUTA ).

Wushu has taught me a whole lot and still hope to develop myself.

please I know there are martial artists in the house, both practicing and non-practicing, let's meet here to share ideas and insights...

N.B: Wushu or other branches of Kung-fu, taekwondo, judo, Thai boxing, Aikido, Karate you are all welcome!

Well, Crouching tiger may be sh*t because there is nothing like that in Kung Fu, it just a movie title by Michelle Yeow and Cho Yun Fat.... Take it or leave it; Kung Fu is not a fancy art... Shaolin and Wudang have the most dangerous and best martial arts Master in the world today. And mind you, no art is superior to other as no weapon is useless, depends on who uses it....

All martial arts has its own forms, moves or katas when it comes to demonstration which we know in Wushu as TAOLU... Graceful movements, fancy stances, speed, etc. But it's not useful for self-defense or street fight, it's only for demonstrating sake.
