GUYS PLEASE I'M AT A DEAD END , DONT WANNA DO ENGINEERING COS EVERY GUY IN MY EXTENDED FAMILY IS AN ENGINEER , SO I'M THINKING OF COMPUTER SCIENCE , GUYS PLEASE DOES A COMPUTER SCIENCE GRADUATE HAVE A VERY GOOD PROSPECTS IN TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT AND IS THEIR SALARIES GOOD

Electrical Engineering and Computer Science are both great courses to study. Both courses are similar in a lot of ways.
Electrical Engineering is a wide discipline that comprises of several sub-disciplines such as Electrical Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, Power System Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering etc. Most graduates in Nigeria opt for Electrical/Electronics option due to the high demand of their skills in the various sectors of the economy. Electrical/Electonics engineers are concerned with transmitting info. using electrical signal possible careers in this field of EE are Telecom Engrs, Network Administrators, System Administrators, software engineers etc.
Computer Science on the other is concerned using computers to solve problems. Mostly this involves designing software(computer programs).
Possible careers include Database Administrators, Network Administrators, Software Engineers, System analyst, web programmers etc.
Depending on your interests and passion.
Both courses are marketable and promise great career prospects.
Also they are both practical, therefore try to attend workshops, seminars and have certifications in your area of specialization.

Electrical engineering. An electrical engineer can easily work as a computer engineer/ scientist but a computer scientists can not work as an electrical engineer. #QED
