Saturday October 18th 2014 was a remarkable day as seasoned professionals and supporters of the consensus candidate for PDP - Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi gathered from across Nigeria at the Royal Garden Hotel in Enugu. In his opening speech entitled - THE SEARCH IS OVER, the National Chairman of the Enugu State Unity Forum - Bar. Tahil Ochi stated that after several months of continuous search for a credible replacement for the high-performing Governor - Bar Sullivan Chime in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in 2015, the people of Enugu-North Senatorial Zone where the governorship candidacy was zoned unanimously adopted Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on Sept 28th, 2014.

Following the unanimous adoption of Hon. Ugwuanyi as the PDP governorship candidate, the search for a replacement for Bar. Chime is over and done with.

Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is a three-time member of the House of Representative - representing Igboeze/Udenu Constituency. He is the Chairman of the House Committee on Maritime and a consummate Insurance professional.

Hon. Ifeanyi is as good as the next governor come 2015 because Enugu is a PDP dominated state with little or no opposition.

Is his constituency that useless?

@ bizard44, his constituency is not "useless". It goes to show that they are in full support of his developmental projects and philanthropy. They have more professors than any other other constituency in Enugu-North, so it is not for lack of credible candidates.
