A lot causes it. But if she is healthy and stress free, she should carry to term just fine. She should eat well, rest and book an antenatal visit to a good hospital.

Good luck Expectant Dad. smiley we see abi na hear your hand work o. Now we know what you did a month ago.

3. Hormonal problems
4. Uterine abnormalities
5. Incompetent cervix (the cervix begins to widen and open too early, in the middle of pregnancy, without signs of pain or labor)
6. Lifestyle factors such as smoking, drinking alcohol, or using illegal drugs
7. Disorders of the immune system, including lupus
8. Severe kidney disease
9. Congenital heart disease
10. Diabetes that is not controlled
11. Thyroid disease

13. Certain medications, such as the acne drug Accutane
