1. Die Hard
On Christmas Eve, John McClane (Bruce Willis) is going about his everyday business, until he decides to gate crashe the party his wife is attending. Unlike most parties this one is taking place in a high-rise office; which becomes over-run by terrorists. Undeterred, John decides to save the day by running barefoot over shattered glass and dispatching terrorists with a mixture of bullets and explosives.

2. The Terminator
After being teleported back to 1984, Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) is given the unenviable task of rescuing Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) from assassination. But Kyle isn’t just protecting her from your average Joe in a nightclub. Instead he’s protecting her against an ultra-violent and practically indestructible cyborg, which just happens to be made in the shape of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

3. Rambo: First Blood
To his Mum he’s John; to his Dad simply J, but to the rest of us; Rambo is the ultimate lad. First Blood is an action-packed, gung ho film about a disturbed Vietnam vet, John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone). Throughout the film John gets arrested, escapes prison and takes to the woods, where he becomes a law defying, one man fighting machine.

4. Robocop
Tells the story of a new cop (Peter Weller) who gets brutally murdered by a gang. His badly mutated body is then attached to a computer-controlled titanium body, which comes equipped with an awesome gun and a handy set of instructions for Robocop to follow. Not surprisingly, Robocop eventually malfunctions and decides to seek vengeance against those who murdered him.

5. Godfather
The Godfather is an all time classic crime epic, with an outstanding cast led by Brando and Pacino. Originally based on a novel by Mario Puzo, this film primarily revolves around a fictional New York crime family, who have a strong liking for violent crime and protecting their family name.

6. Predator
Dutch is just one member of a Special Forces rescue team, which has been sent in to assist with a U.S. government plan in a Latin American country. However, as time progresses Dutch’s own team get picked off one by one, which leads them to establish they are up against something extraterrestrial; a unique creature that is hunting them for sport.

7. An Eye For An Eye
Any lad (who prides himself on being a lad) should know how important it is to have a little bit of Chuck Norris in your life. For that reason alone, he deserves a spot on this list. So therefore I nominate ‘An Eye For An Eye’ because it has plenty of cops, guns, explosions and Christopher Lee thrown in for good measure.

8. Taxi Driver
Despite its New York settings, this film depicts a number of issues that us lads come across on a daily basis; personal struggles, crime, violence and sleaze. However, unlike some lads, these disturbances encourage Travis to violently lash out, attempt to murder a senior political member and try to save a teenage prostitute in the process.

9. American Psycho
In 1987, a twenty-something, Wall Street broker, Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) seems to have everything an everyday lad dreams of; money, good looks, a perfect physique and a stunning girlfriend. However, for Patrick this is not enough. As we soon learn that he also likes to indulge in an orgy of drugs, prostitution and gruesome murder fantasies.

10. Transformers
The final film on this illustrious list is Transformers, which is a modern revamp of the children’s cartoon sci-fi series. It has been brought bang up-to-date in the form of a big-budget, live-action blockbuster!

in my opinion, i think these movies dont belong to this generation when there are movies far more interesting that are yet to be watched...my 2 cents pls
