I have a crack on my windshield, i dont really know how it came about, but its just annoying to me each time i see it.
Please can anyone tell me how to stop it, i already somebody here in abuja 1,500 to stop it, but the guy did rubbish, days after he 'stopped' it, the crack spread further.

Please i need help on this.

Paste a small cellotape where the crack stops. It won't spread further

Replace it!

Once there is a crack on your windscreen, there is really nothing you can do to prevent further cracks. Whatever anyone claims to do will only be temporary and a waste of money. Save up and replace your windscreen.

My two cars had same problem but I eventually met a guy who stopped those cracks for me in Ibadan and ever since I did that, those cracks had stopped expanding. What he uses is liquid glass tech and honestly speaking I wasn't thinking of buying new ones anymore. There is nothing without a solution. If u want his number I can give you but he has his w/shop in Ibadan.

believe me, heat is the least thing the windscreen needs now, leaving little spaces on your car windows when winding up help reduce considerably the amount of heat enclosed in the car which soften the windscreen. the cracking is caused by expansion and contraction.
it's worst if your dashboard is painted black - a good heat absorber

I understand the expansion and contraction theory very well but note that your windscreen will only crack if there is an impact on it.

it was last week. i parked outside my office as usual. just came out of the office to go out when i discovered the crack.

Hard luck to you. Since my neighbour's windscreen developed a crack as a result of a stone thrown at his car by some children in the area, i try not to park outside except i cant avoid it.

Stop wasting money looking for a temporary measure to stop the crack. Save up and replace the windscreen.

yes i understand, i am only saying that heat expands the cracks, it doesn't cause it.
