Not necessarily, you might have scored 54% in Maths and 48% in English to give an aggregate of 51. Several possibilities abound.

A person score 25 in numerical and 26 in verbal, she passed.

Another person score 42 in numerical, and 23 in verbal, he failed.

hahhahaa, dont feel bad my dear....I was skeptical about the whole thing cos of dat 2 mill and oda targets after employment, I'm just happy I passed the test generally, not dat I got an aggregate less dan 50% sef
