Why are people trusting so much in other people praying for them?? Its time you took your bible, seat down and study revelation! No one can pray for you if you don't trust yourself to pray for yourself! The minute you start depending on "YOUR PASTOR" to pray for you is the minute you lose your connection with your creator...am I alarmed? Yes, concerned? Yes! The church is under attack, every time you pray, remember the church!

The church is under attack?...Yes and the church has always been under attack just as it is written that the kingdom of God suffereth violence & the violent shall take it by force.

But keep in mind that there are many other churches that are sincerely making efforts in the right path.So we are not to abandon the church but prayerfully seek for the right place of worship where righteous living is esteemed.

It is very hard for individual christians to stand in isolation without being swayed so christians without churches will create a worse problem in the long run cos when you evangelise and win people to Christ you have to nuture them as new babes till they are able to stand or else they fall.This process is called church.

@ Anomnity: you got a great point there. Its just sad that people in the congregation are brainwashed. They trust the preachers more than they trust God. Its a pity! The church is me and you and that's the body of christ and not the building or 'owners' of that building.

The church has been under attack since the days of Paul, so that shouldn't surprise you.don't you remember he told you about these things beforehand? Know ye not that in the last days, difficult/dangerous times shall come and men will be lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God

Yes, the church is under attack, but under attack from itself.
Religion is like a trojan horse. It reveals itself once inside an infected mind,..thereafter destroys all that is good and decent.

You CHurchtians seem to conveniently forget that the church was not founded on any fundamentally virtuous goals or ideals. The church, then, as today, was a political/ecclesiastical tool for social engineering and subjugation of the masses by a few.
