the national chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu

Speaker of the House of Reps, Aminu Tambuwal
The Speaker who recently defected from the ruling
party to the opposition wants the court to stop
moves being made by the PDP to declare his seat
vacant.
Tambuwal insists that he remains the Speaker of
the House of Representatives until the expiration
of his current term which is 5 June, 2015.
He wants the court to make an order of perpetual
injunction restraining the defendants from taking
any steps whatsoever to abrogate, diminish or
infringe on his rights and privileges as the
Speaker of the House of Representatives before
the expiration of his current tenure.

nomination of candidates or otherwise organizing
or conducting a ‘bye election for the purpose of

mandatory injunction compelling the defendants

Mr speaker, hear you talk. See your life? That you were not elected speaker of the house by reason of your membership of the PDP is a big lie from the pit of hell. If you were not a PDP member would you have qualified to contest for that seat? Why didn't APC or CPC or other party members in the house contest. The post of speaker was reserved for PDP. As a PDP member you contested against another PDP candidate. That the ACN then supported your aspiration does not make you their member.
As for emergence of faction in PDP, tell me where are the factions. Was it the one your political godfather, Wamako and his co governor defectors created to enable them defect? That was last year. Why didn't you defect with them then? Mr ex speaker, you are on your own. Except you can also create your faction, no court in the land can accept that there is a faction in PDP. Sorry sir! You are on a long thing!
