I have heard people say some months and days have good luck so children born on such months/days would have good fortune. Is there any cultural or religion implication of being born on a particular day or month? Which months/days (Jan-Dec/Sun-Sat) carry fortune and which do not? Any month/day with peculiarity?

You can get the details of this through horoscope. Every month has it own zodaic sign and meaning. I dare say that nobody will give you the details here, you can Google for the zodaic signs and meanings or read books on it in a library.

Guy forget dat stuff, no month or day is more special than the other.

If there's an actual day or month associated wit luck, people will partition their gesitation so that their child will fall into that period.
