A major oil servicing firm located in Port Harcourt is looking for a procurement officer.
Description
This isn’t a conclusive list but basic prospect for the envisioned personnel.
1. The Individual would be expected to source for materials for supply from both in the local and international market.
2. He/she is also expected to manage the company’s bidding process for the company with final input from the Managing Director.
3. He is expected to prepare and deliver both hard copy and soft copies of quotations, Bids and tenders to clients.
4. The individual would also act as company’s representative in technical meetings with clients.
5. The Individual should also be able to advice on cost saving procedures during projects.
6. The individual would also act as a logistics officer, so as to deliver the procured good to the client.
Requirement
1. A good First Degree ( Preferable in engineering or the sciences)
2. Good Knowledge Of Oil & Gas Tools and equipment
3. High knowledge in basic computer operations and internet.
4. Good Know of the Port Harcourt Oil & Gas Equipment Markets.
