Tattoos are really cute things,but definitely not for muslims. There is a prophet's saying that negates it...
Normally this wouldn't have been a problem,until I saw a brother in the mosque a week ago with 3 tattoos on him. Two on his arms and one on his leg. I was bewildered and when I called his attention to the negation on tattoos,he expressed sheer innocence. He told me he'd never heard it before.

The same thing applies to tribal marks.
