Backing up blogger template before doing anything in it is very important either editing or changing the template. Why backup before editing template is very important is because you may apply a change to your template and you want to revert it to the former template all you have to do is just to upload the template that you backup before and you are done.

Backup of blogger is very easy and it can be done in just a few steps
Step 1: Log in to blogger
Step 2: On the blogger dashboard click on Template

Step 3: Click on backup/restore button on the right hand corner of the screen
Step 4: Click on download full template and chose where you want to save the template to.

For easy access rename your template that you downloaded with the name that you can easily remember.
To restore the template back just still also follow the steps above and click on browse and locate the template at where you save it to on your computer and click on upload and you are done.
