Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godwin Akpabio, will be opening an Olympic-sized stadium in the state today, November 7th.

The Akwa Ibom International Stadium which has been nicknamed the “Nest of Champions,” is located in Uyo, and is described as a 30,000 capacity ultra-modern complex modelled after the Allianz Arena in Germany.

Some of its features include:

All-natural grass
High-tech floodlights
Security cameras
36 emergency exits, bullet proof VVIP and VIP areas

The stadium will be opened with a friendly match between Super Eagles of Nigeria and Black Stars of Ghana tomorrow at 3pm, with notable dignitaries from all over in attendance.

They will make it so difficult just becus they want to steal money...and some of us will be supporting and hailing...that's why we don't have light good roads and water not that we can't afford it but they just refused to do it.
