It is not a hidden fact that peter odili as gov was sorely corrupt, while chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as speaker of that govt for 8yrs unusually quiet.I'm now baffeled by d sudden holier than thou attitude?".He was not just the speaker in that govt but prior to dat he was the personal aide to the Odili.Odili was so infamous that he was tagged 'donatus'.in comes Amaechi after the court issues n he stays 4 4yrs and nobody heard him as an anti corruption crusader.infact he had a running battle with the EFCC during this time.He even went all out to say there was a subsisting perpetual injuction stoping any Rivers govt official from being investigated for corruption.In comes his second tenure he falls out with the presidency and he all of a sudden becomes an anti corruption crusader.I cannot put the two together! 2 Likes |
