Nigerians have nominated 3 Governors which include Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola,
Cross River State Governor Liyel Imoke and Delta State Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan
for the Sports Governor of the Year Award in the forthcoming
Nigeria Sports Award billed for 13th November 2014.

This category of award was introduced last year and it was won by the Delta state Governor,
Emmanuel Uduaghan who was lauded for his unending support to one of Nigeria's leading athlete,
Blessing Okagbare and development of sports in the state.
