I have been following Nigerian politics and there's something I have noticed from politicians and political parties across all borders. It is this; hardly you hear a politician come up and speak plainly without taking swipes at the other party or candidate.

Is it not possible to make your speech or deliver your scorecard without making reference to the other party or talking down on them?
Is there any advantage in this type of campaign strategy?
Whose party is more guilty of this act in Nigeria?
