Only easy way to progress is to define (assume) one variable so we now have two variables, two equations. Let's say that you assume the number of children (obviously the group with the most persons), you can then easily find solutions for men and women.

You'd have different answers that satisfies the eqns for each assumed value, and none the ultimate solution.
