In my own opinion, I think Keshi and his Crew should be given enough time because Patience is d key to every successful journey.... But he has to do away with some players in d national team no matter whose ox is gored and introduce fresh blood from the Under 17 or other subordinates....
we shld give him time.

[b]Nigerians Fans Are To Blame For The Draw To South Africa

It has come to the blaming season. Coach Keshi is the scape goat. However, the truth must be told. Since Coach Keshi took the job as the Super Eagles coach, I liked the fact he em,braced competition. We saw him drop someone of the calibre of Osaze, Uche, Yobo, Taiwo, etc. Before or during the Nations Cup. Nigerians, from the stands, to the members of the NFF, to ex-Super Eagles players, criticised and fought his decisions.

Coach Keshi was right creating a dynamic team. A team that changes are seen and always filled with hungry players which have a lot to prove.

Many criticizing Coach Keshi should criticize themselves. Did they embrace change? Today, Aluko and Aaron Samuel deserved to start. They had been the instrument of change in the team. However, the Coach did not start them. Why criticize him now when he was criticized for doing that all the way.

I watched the Nigeria vs Sudan match at Abuja and saw fans holding Placards asking for Ikechukwu Uche. The fans did not want Aluko who was on the bench. No, they wanted Uche.

So criticizing Coach Keshi today might fly. He refused to start Aluko and Aaron Samuel. The question these fans, ex-Players and NFF members should ask themselves is, What were their reactions when Coach Keshi invited these players and tried to make a change.

These are the main culprits of our failure today.

Finally, the fans in Uyo were shameful. Our team was down 2-0 against South Africa and the Uyo fans booed them. These players needed the fans to get behind them, believe and cheer them to victory. Instead, the players had to battle with a twelve man South African team. With the Uyo fans being the twelfth man. Disgraceful.

it isn't a matter of disbandment but what should be done is by adding 3-4young fresh faces lyk ihenacho, yahaya etc and then dump some of dis guys lyk emenike and 1 or 2 more.. but first of all we need a sound technical coach.. keshi has tried but i tink we need a change..
lyk d sayin goes, Change is d only constant thing in life

Seriously, should we beg these idiots to take some of our U17 World Cup winners and put them into the senior team. our U17 team played BEAUTIFUL football in that world cup, in fact i am of the opinion that everyone in this eagle team retire and our team should be built around those young boys. Give them 3 or 4 years and they will be in the top 15 teams of the world and hopefully by Russia 2018 we can make a splash. If not sacking the whole current team and bringing the U17 guys why not take the best 4 or 5 of those U17 guys and start grooming them for the senior team, why is this crap so hard to freaking understand? Nigeria man, the land were common sense seems not to exist for anyone in a position of import.

The rise and fall of keshi is complete.

He is an abismal failure as a team manager.

That's not to say he didn't try new players and use that youthful exuberance and luck to win a title and get us to the elimination round of the wc, but his arrogance and stubbornness has ended what should have been a great reign.

Team selection favoritism over actual form will be what they say about his reign. Sticking with out of form players, fighting like a woman with your players, not knowing when to walk away, not knowing when to shut up and be humble.

I went from rooting for him as a coach to absolutely despising his era. Good riddance!!!!!!

As I said, we keep looking back, instead of forward. What can Uche contribute to the team in 2018 world Cup?

WE WANT UCHE

Though painful, but if truth must be said, we reap what we sow. A building built on the roof without a solid foundation will surely collapse. It is not only super eagle that has failed, but the whole country, from the leaders to the followers. No nation can develop in the midst of mediocrity. Everything is practically not right in this country, and we all pretend that all is well.. if sensitive issues that bothered on nation building are treated with sentiments and emotions the results is nothing but the situation nigerians have found themselves. It is a big shame, pathetic and frightening that most of our leaders have run out of ideas, instead of development, we get shrinkage, instead of cognizant, we parade, celebrate and hail clueless leaders. The Holy Bible says that "if the foundation is destroyed, what can the righteous do". Big question for everyone in this country to pondered on. The very fine structures that our founding fathers who fought for the independence of this country put in place have been destroyed by the politicians. Sadly most of these politicians are beneficiary of that laudable programmes that the founding fathers put in place. The legacy of if you have opportunity to get to the position of authority chop your own and leave the rest is what the political class can give back to the country that made them, very sad indeed. Fellow Nigerian, except revolution of mind, thought, orientation happens to everyone, irrespective of our culture, religion inclination, and social strata, our future as a nation is at big risk. Think wisely to avoid deeper sink, even as we prepare for 2015 general elections. God bless you all as we get set to build new Nigeria.

If you disband dem na who you call up there? Na de same train carray all of them joooor! South African Coach mentioned using Under 17 and Under 23s in the team which led to their successful outing. Maybe we should start thinking of doing same undecided Even at that ...are our Under 17s and Under 20, 23 truly their age?

Exactly my point, we need total disbandment & start afresh, Keshi has de lion share of de blame, because he kept on inviting bench warmers & non-commited players. Look @ Omeruo, warming bench in a championship club, Ambrose, hw many matches has he start for his club dis season? NFF, pls get rid of dis so-called players.

Its a good thing that we acknowledge d fact that Super Eagles didn't deserve to win d last AFCON but won out of Luck. The truth of the matter is that few months before the Nations cup, The Father of Creation, Sat guru Maharaj Ji DONATED the AFCON to Nigeria as a gift for hosting Maharaj Ji for 33years, as at then. Lo and behold Nigeria won the cup. Now instead of the NFF, Players, and Coaching crew to show appreciation to Maharaj Ji for HIS unshaken support even wen all Nigerians predicted doom for the eagles, they all rallied round TB Joshua's SCOAN to say thank you. Maharaj Ji being a father didn't relent in his assistance went ahead in an interview with SWAN promised Nigeria the 2014 world cup but dis time either the NFF, Coaching Crew or the Players should come to Maharaj Ji for directives. But they ignored Maharaj Ji saying don't mind dat bearded man who lives in Ibadan. Even though the odds were in our favor Nigerians didn't grap d opportunity given by Maharaj Ji for Nigeria to be the first African nation to lift the world cup. Keshi thought it was his coaching skills that won him the nations cup same with d players and NFF not knowing it was out of the grace of Maharaj Ji. Now Maharaj Ji has left them to play the game and the so called defending champions can't even qualify from the group. what a shame!!. I am calling on Nigerians to seize the opportunity to recognize Maharaj Ji for keeping dis Nation together despite all the plans of d forces to destroy d nation. cos the indices of war in other countries is not up to one-tenth of what is happening in Nigeria still Nigeria is still standing tall.

Hello Niaralanders,

I am of opinion that this present national team should be disbanded irrespective of the outcome of the ongoing match between Congo and Nigeria. The team lacks cohesion, individual skills, and above all,the technical crew is no longer competent to handle the national team. Stephen Keshi and his men destroyed the same team they built 2 years ago. 48 minutes of no meaningful shot on target from the Eagles!!! How long shall we continue to swallow the bitter pills? I am tired of this particular team and everything it represents.

I want us to build a team from scratch,a team that will not feature any of the present crop of players representing us today, the man that won the last Fifa under 17 world cup should be given the mandate to rebuild our team.

I want to use this medium to thank Coach Keshi and his technical crew for bringing success to us 2 years ago, but, we got to move on to the next level without them.

Best Regards,

Bro Konjakonja.

Brazil lost 7-1 at home in the world cup, was the team disbanded?
England failed to qualify for euro, was the team disbanded?
Spain the defending champions crashed out of the world cup group stages, was the team disbanded?

Don't come here and be yarning bulls like a typical nigerian that you are, you left d most pertinent problem plaguing nigerian football which is corruption, do u think if they disband the team, the present over aged under 17 will do any better??
