I studied Electrical/Electronics from a university of Technology. I know how to troubleshoot, fix and repair some electrical related systems ( Building wiring, some problems on electronics, some on vehicle electrical system). But if you call me to help you I most likely will tell you 'NO". Do you know why? "ITS NOT MY JOB. CALL THE TECHNICIAN". In developed countries if you don't have the licence and certification of a technician, even if you are a Prof of engineering, you could be arrested. It's because Nigeria is a lawless country and quality education is not taken seriously, that's why people think like this.

This is a funny statement. What year do you think “AI came into existence”? My first encounter with AI was in 2003, with the Russel Norvig book - Artificial Intelligence: A modern approach (2nd ed). And by then AI hadn’t just been in existence. Probably came into existence in the 60s with the Turing Test looking to evaluate how “intelligent” AI was.

We just have a government that is never organized. Since we have Federal Medical Centers (FMCs), why not create Federal agricultural centers in some states where agro related activities are going on. It will provide jobs for many agric related graduates, there will improved crop yield. These Federal agricultural centers would be able to even pay their own salaries and remit extra to federations account, like Nigerian customs and NNPCL. There will also be extra for exports. Leaving agriculture in the hands of illiterate farmers and non-experts in the villages is dangerous. I think I need to email one of our senators o!

When they say Japan is the best in technology it is also HND aspect they're referring to not theoretical Engineering alone.
Engineers are mostly in managerial, while Technologists focus more on the technical details.
