The Official Serie A channel deliberately didn't include in their highlights reel. Also, the accounts on twitter that showed the clips of the goal were flagged for the clip so the clip was taken down from those accounts. But before they did, I downloaded it and I have it. Watched it over 10 times and that goal is super legit. Osimhen was robbed. He didn't touch Diego Godin. Godin just mistimed his kick and fell away under pressure.

I watched it via flashscore video... I just went there now to see if i could record and save it... it's been pulled down. That goal was totally valid.. Osimhen and Napoli were robbed of what would have been an absolutely beautiful goal. Too bad

I need to correct one notion on this thread...

we always say Rohr never believed in Onuachu.. But that's a lie from the pit of hell. None of you will know Onuachu today if Rohr didn't give him the chance when he was just playing in denmark. Not even a top 6 league.

At the last AFCON, Rohr started Onuachu ahead of even the legendary Odion Ighalo because he believed so much in the lad and believed he will perform. Osimhen as at then was not even rated by Rohr... Onuachu was Rohr's first choice not until we saw how woefully Onuachu was playing that he had to play Ighalo and Ighalo delivered where Onuachu could not.

Even after delivering the first game for us, Rohr still didn't stick with just Ighalo.. He rotated between Onuachu and Ighalo through out the AFCON.. and each time Onuachu came in, he was a disaster. Rohr had to succumb to the numerous complaints by Nigerians to try out Osimhen before he even gave him a chance in the last game.

We have to understand that in the National team, you have a very slim timeline to impress and if you don't, you are written off. Osimhen was given a chance to show what he could deliver and he clicked like Bread to Butter for the national team immediately. If Osimhen played woefully in his first 2 games.. trust me, he won't be enjoying the well deserved chance he is getting now. He earned it and he is still proving that he is the best man for that position.

Onuachu had to go back to the drawing board to work on his poor touches and work rate and i believe his move to Genk helped in his development a lot. Most of his goals in Midgtyland was scored with his head.. But in Genk, he learnt how to hold the ball a little and strike perfectly with his feet. While he is still a work in progress and yet to be tested in a better and more compact league, i would say he has done really great for himself,but not enough to reclaim the cf position from Osimhen. In my opinion, the team should be built totally around thge strength of Osimhen as it is a style we are used to.

It's not about starting from the bench or not.. It's about proper servicing. The boy has proven over and over again that with a right pass, just leave the ball with him and he will surely deliver. He needs to get good passes over and over again in games for him to deliver a lot of goals. All top 9's all around the world rely on passes to score. Even though they may miss some, at least they get up to 4 key passes in a game and try as much as possible to convert at least one. In Napoli, Osimhen has to make sure he scores with every single pass because in an entire game, he may get only one good pass

Why say so? I am serious because the way Napoli is going, if Gattuso remains as coach, I won't be surprise if Osimhen goes 2 seasons without scoring 15 leagues goals. Napoli style doesn't requires nor support a top 9, even Mertens is suffering in their ongoing match and if leicester continues this way, they will become champions league regular

First of, Leicester can't afford Osimhen presently... and Napoli won't want to sell at a loss. Not just yet. They would have to see him play for more seasons so as to gain their money's worth or see if they have to cut their loss.

Secondly, what happens during Afcon? Two nigerians go to play at Afcon... Who then plays attack for Leicester?

I'm not saying Victor wouldn't have been a perfect replacement for Vardy oo... Because they both have same style of play... Ball to space and then chase after it... But under the present circumstances, it won't just work out
