What has Jose been doing with this spurs team since he took over ?

Suddenly if he haven’t been sacked he would have won this final

This Genk coach is playing with fire... He's playing just Onuachu as a lone striker up front today... And stats has shown that Onuachu performs better with partnership up front.... Abeg oo, Onuachu please score and win this cup already

I don't think we have defenders to take us beyond second round/quarter final in WC,unless those new German guys are able to measure up to standard needed,

For now we don't have top diffenders.
In midfield,we only have Ndidi for now,
If any of EZE,OLISE or NWAKALI can fill the gap between the midfield and the attack ,then our midfield would b solid.

Our sqaurd is only good for AFCON trophy for now,not for *WC trophy.
Beyond WC quarter is an achievement for this team now.
And bear in mind the type of coach we have
Senegal reached quarter final with average players... Ghana reached quarter final with average players...Cameroon reached quarter final with average players....the same Cameroon lost at a group stage at espana 82 without losing a single match.

The issue here is Rohr. not the players.

That Senegal 2002 team weren't average, individually they were very good.
From Fadiga to Diouf to Camara, etc.

Rohr is conservative I know, but so we have the defence to withstand world class attackers if Rohr chose to go solely attacking?

Have you watched PSG this season in the UCL since Pochetino took over? He plays a kinda formation where every other players defend, leaving only Parades in CM and Neymar, Mbappe, Di Maria and Icardi or someone else pairing them upfront to do the scoring. That's why you hardly see other players scoring for PSG except their forward players and it has worked for PSG so far.
So I think it will also work on the World stage for the SE, leaving only our Forward players to do the scoring, leaving maybe Aribo as a CM, while others do the defending. Osimhen, Iheanacho, Chukwueze and Maybe Iwobi are capable goalscorers

I disagree bro...azubuike is calm on d ball..hardly play misplaced passes like etebo, awever his marking is a suspect..but when it comes to ball distribution nobody come close to him,not even ndidi when it comes to DM...

Y du u think we lost against Germany in Olympics. ...it was due to his absence..dt midfield couldn't hold his own against Germany.. Mikel had no supporter in d middle dt day..his absense was greatly felt cool
I know at a point you guys would stop referencing a youth tournament from 5 years ago, the fact that that's the only time he has done anything worth talking about is a damning indictment on how his career have taken shape

The last sentence for me. lol!!!
ChrisKels:

What a strike, when I thought his last goal against Marseille was classic, now this? Wow!

One thing that makes me believe so much in this boy is the work he has put in. Dude was looking bulky until the move to Lorient. Now he looks so trimmed and faster while maintaining his usual stupendous predatory instincts. His striking techniques is elite. He is made for the big clubs.

Dessers chose the wrong nation to represent, even Tammy made a wiser decision by choosing the easier option - England

I got your point but with Leon Balogun,Ekong,Awaziem,Akpogunma,Semi, and Omeruo a good coach should be able to manage this team.

But if they show their inconsistency, you go blame Rohr.

Trust me bro, they are good but aren't good enough. They are like Liverpool defenders before VD joined Liverpool, average and below average without a world class defender leading them. The only player who has shown that he has the ability to stand his ground has always been balogun. Ekong is something else, Omerua will shine in a tournament in a game and would be error prone afterwards. It would have been nice if Koulibali was a Nigerian, at least he would have become our VD in the midst of average and below average defenders.

Nah, I think Balogun is a very good defender, it's only age that isn't on his side that's his major problem and Brighton slowed him down. You could see his impact when he joined Wigan, even though it was in a lesser league and he has done well for both the SE and Rangers
