Just saw an old thread and thought it would be nice to play again.

Please answer the questions and tag a person to answer them too.

1. What qualities do you admire in people?

2. What is your super power?

3. If you could change one thing about you, what would it be (character or physical trait)?

4. If you could be someone else for one day, who would you like to be?

5. What advice would you give your children or niece/nephew for choosing a spouse?
Cococandy, Onegai, 1stGenAmerican

1. Honesty above all else, good character, humility, and a sense of humor.

2. Sorry for the rude phrase but my superpower is spotting bullshit.

3. If I could change one thing, it would be my metabolism. I would speed it up!

4. If it could be anyone for a day, I would literally be Superwoman.

5. Look beyond the surface and choose someone who has values, character, upbringing, and goals that align with yours. Make sure that the two of you are equally yolked financially, spiritually, and emotionally—don’t not compromise on any of these.

I know 1stGenAmerican loves to see Kamala Harris winning but not when we can fast and pray here. Come November, Trump wins the election

Fasting and praying in Nigeria is one thing, taking action in America is another thing. We the voters in America know that wont be happening. Even Trump himself already knows this.
What’s currently happening in Nigeria is an example of what happens when people vote for leaders that they already know are corrupt and incompetent. We won’t be following the example that Nigeria has set.

He should’ve learned with Trump that in this country, no one is beyond reproach. The burner under his pot of water has been set to boil.

The so called police report stated that the person calling saw some people and said they were Haitians. How? How do you see people on the street and know where they are from without asking them or hearing anything they say?

They don’t know, they just make up something to fit their narrative. The man in the circulating picture carrying the geese was confirmed to be an immigrant from South Africa. The guy who snapped the picture and actually spoke to the guy said he was African but the MAGATs insisted he was Haitian.

The white female version of Basillico. She’s run for several offices, lost all her races, is an Internet weirdo, prides herself in being a White Nationalist, and pushes baseless conspiracy theories. She’s banned from everything, including regular food delivery apps and Uber. She believes that the Russian-Ukrainian war is a fake battle staged by the media. Any sane politician would be ashamed to be publicly associated with her yet Dump sat and listened to all her bullshit as a means of debate prep.
This’ll tell you all you need to know: known racist, nutcase liar Marjorie Taylor Green calls Loomer a nutcase, a racist, and a liar. It’s that bad.

Why do black youth in the United States commit violent acts almost twice as often as white or Latino youth? Researchers at Harvard University have found that the reasons have little to do with individual poverty or inherent racial differences, according to a study published in the February 2005 issue of the American Journal of Public Health.

Rather, four factors—the marital status of a young person’s parents, the prevalence of professionals and managers in his or her neighborhood, whether he or she is a first- or second-generation immigrant, and the proportion of other people in the neighborhood who are immigrants—account for most of the differences in violent crime rates for youth, according to Robert J. Sampson, the study’s lead author.

“The data suggest that it’s more than just a family’s financial resources,” says Sampson, a professor of sociology at Harvard University. “The study shows that the disparity is largely social in nature and therefore amenable to intervention in community rather than individual settings.”

They don’t commit at a higher rate, they’re prosecuted and punished at a higher rate. But thank you for the thoughts. Let’s stay on topic.

It's like you asking why a social radio drama is delivered in native language even though it has English Title...

Why didn’t he speak Yoruba from start to finish, since it was the best way to communicate and understand?
Because he had ill intentions and an agenda.

No need to return just move to another country ..it’s that simple

The only way the money is paid is if the immigrant is repatriated to his home country. The Swedish authorities oversee the repatriation.

That money when converted to Nigeria is about 55 million and can set up one a business for life in the country

That’s not the amount each will receive. The 40,000 kronor is the maximum that a family would receive—not every family will automatically receive the maximum. Individuals can only get up to 10,000 kronor each which is less than 2 million naira.

No they can't. Swedes are not dumb.

The money will probably be deposited to your account days after it is confirmed your flight have landed out of the Schengen zone.

Also, it will be given to migrants with immigration records in Sweden, eg failed asylum seekers, and even legal residents like the Muslims they hate to much.

The program is not available for temporary residents like those on student permit and work permit. Those kinds of permit are dead end and doesn't leads to permanent residency.

With this cash program, Sweden is targeting immigrants with long-term legal residency, even those with permanent one. They will cancel your peemit after you've left.

You cant just enter Sweden from let's say Finland, and tell them you want the money to go home. Them no go answer you.

Very precise answer. Life would be so much easier for many people if they learned to do what you’ve mastered—read the fine print and think. Instead, some are reading & planning to spend money trying going to Sweden thinking they’ll make a profit by agreeing to go back. 🤣😂

Right. By accepting the money, they agree to be repatriated back to their home country. The Swedish government oversees the whole process from start to finish.

Or Sweden can make alliances with other countries trying to fight the immigration problems. Sweden could provide those countries with information on those who have been previously paid under its own program. undecided

I’m reading up on that program—that’s precisely what they’ll be doing. The acceptance of the money to leave the country becomes a permanent part of the immigration history.

Na business for guys be dis.

Many possibilities:
1.
Leave as John and return as James.

2.
Leave Sweden and enter another country to remain a foreigner.

Is James going to burn off his fingertips so that his biometrics don’t reveal that he’s really John? You really don’t think the Swedes have already thought about that and created workarounds for the what ifs? Advanced countries don’t become advanced by failing to think ahead.

Yea, teach me western professional ethics as if I haven't lived in one of the best European countries and helped others to secure opportunities there.

The emphasis here isn't even on his work ethics, it's about how you're rejoicing at the possibility of him getting sacked, probably because you never liked the comments circulating on social media about women reporting their husbands... Admit the truth woman!

The emphasis here is on his abuse of power and how something that seems small leads to corruption.

"Needed to hear or not", that shouldn't be coming from him. If I was there, I would have earlier raised issues with the authorities over that "advice"....he is not in Nigeria.

Exactly. You’re a qualified professional who is tasked with doing the things he tried to do. These people don’t understand that if he was qualified to do what he did, professionals like yourself would be obsolete. You wouldn’t try to arrest anyone without the police so why should the police be able to give advice without a skilled professional?
These guys won’t admit that he switched to Yoruba from English because he knew what he was doing was outside of his scope. If the audience understood what was said in English, there wasn’t a valid reason for him to switch.

Are all the cases genuine? Are they not making up stories as well? There's a case of a popular doctor on twitter that was wrongfully accused of rape. He nearly lost his career if not his life. Shouldn't the lady be jailed? What happens when this accusations are false? What happens to the men too? Should false accusers lives be destroyed conpletely?

A person who’s wrongly accused can pursue actions against the accuser. The police can also determine that the person filed a false report and acts on it. Here in America, people get arrested for filing false reports all the time but not as often as they don’t get arrested because there’s truth to their accusations.

Is that video about women reporting a matter to them or about women reporting every matter even the ones that can be settled amicably? You are abusing the privilege and that's what the video is all about. How about the cases that are none abusive? Abusive cases should be reported, how about the weaponisation of this privilege? How about issues that can be settled amicably? This is not about Africa or not. There are many cases of false accusations against men too. Men have been jailed for false rape accusations, many have lost their jobs and their career. Is that fair? Can you wish your siblings or your sons? Women shouldn't learn to behave themselves and obey the laws too? Are women above the laws? The children are the ones that suffer in all this. Should we talk about paternity fraud? It's a two way thing. Men's mental health matters too. Address this as if your son is the one involved in it and stop the attack. Look for whatever you lack in your life.

Abusing privilege? In a working country, being able to call the police is not a privilege, it’s a RIGHT. Everyone has the same right, no one has privilege over anyone else. It isn’t like Nigeria where only rich people or those who pay bribe get police services.
