@ ex elpaso mums/dads,

is there a way to escape getting consent letter from father of child notorised from embassy for baby's passport since elpaso passport agency insist on it .
This is especially more tedious for those families that don't reside in Abuja or Lagos where the consulates are.

[quote author=Ralphlauren post=36154065]oh yea? you could'nt resist the urge to drop your own sarcastic comment abi?

just less than two pages discussion on the 'other side of the coin'/tax implications and yet you are tagging it 'boring and over flogged'.

i am sure if i had come here with detailed info on how to claim benefits/tax credits, etc or how get schloarship for your wards and not overburden them with student loans or how to get your green card via your ward even before @ralphlauren pls its ok,I mean no offense but ur starting to sond lik a broken record reali! Not every1 wil always agree with u,make ur point and let it go..jeez

Hell to all the mamas in the house, I have been following this thread for a while now. I wife is heavy now with our second baby and she will be due some time Nov.
My elder brother lives in Houston with his family, I would love to know how much it could cost us to have our baby deliver in Houston since the accommodation part of it is taken care of with my brother in Houston.
What are the things we need to put in place before going for an interview and I will love to know if she should apply for our son too who is 2 years old since I will be too busy to look after him here in Nigeria.
Please I need your candid advice.
all your questions have been answered a gazilion times sir, kindly read the thread.it tuk people a lot to get the information. after going thru if you have any questions den fine..

Hello Everybody,
Thanks for providing all the information on this site.

I have shortlisted three locations 1) El Paso (Doctorspareti) 2)Houston (Oakbend & Dr Fa) 3) Phoenix (MIHS)

Can anyone share their recent experience with Doctorspareti?

Any would be moms in May/June? I plan to arrive in US little early and I can catch up anybody planning to visit in May, June.

It seems Doctorsparaeti have been over used and their quality of service has degraded over last few months.Any comments welcome.
lool wo said its been over used,am currently in elpaso. Tho I dint use dem but dats just false misrepresentation.2 me elpaso has one of d most strait forward bills if ur in a budgett, evn after birthing. D 2 newborn screening r free..pls let's not spoil d place 4 prospective moms.I birthed my baby last week at delsol and if I say d service wasn't. Fantasic m liein

lol. She even metioned paying $50 cheesy cheesy cheesy Something that is very very free. If only people asking questions can read through the thread. All these have been thrashed out in previous pages.
iyawo to be,if you check america embassy website it is what is written there, she simply quoted it,that it doesn't apply to all states doesn't mean its wrong, one place I know you must use a notarised consent from us embassy is elpaso.I can't speak on oda states.

@shelly23, is that man even her uncle. Her husband's former teacher or what. I am sure your right, he didn't care any more about her.
@ Mabels. If she knew, she would have written to the embassy saying she isn't using her "uncle" again, and she has decided to give birth in the states That would have helped.
@ Everyone, lets free this Doctores for Visa's and POE for now abeg. I wonder how she is doing.,
May God go before us, Amen...
pls let's nt discourage ppl 4m doctores,m nt using dem but dey afford so many ppl cheap quality birth.yes mayb at the embassy don't use dem but poe is ok.always request drmartell signs ur letter cos rodolfo is d agent..tho m using anoda doc here in elpaso dey av been of help 2 odas..also 2 mamas goin thru som poe's get ur stories straight, many cbp officers in houston 4 example don't av much patience 4 explanation.when I came in at second inspection a pregnant woman was almost sent bk,she got her visa in dec travelled in january but lied bout it.in som oda poe's she probably won't evn b taken in 4 inspection..my point is sori 2 d chicago mum sent bk,was d man reali ur uncle or u just call him uncle, den u shulda involved him in plans 2 travel 2 elpaso..dose cbp officers are sooo someow at times.most importantly prayer is key.may God compensate u wit a beautiful baby

Extra 2,500. You are lucky. My own na the one wey dem dey call Original Gobe. I was billed extra 9,000 for spending a night at the hospital. A week before I put to bed doctor was worried about d size of my baby (3.9kg according to them) and asked me to go in let them monitor the baby and then decide whether I was going to be induced to labour. He told me the baby's size would be getting bigger and may get to the point of using CS. My annoyance is that i asked him if there was an extra charge for that and he said it was part of the whole delivery package. I went into the hospital that night and they monitored my baby through out the night. The next morning they decided to still give me time and discharged me. Now the hospital is giving me bill of 9k for just a night. Meanwhile a whole delivery package of two nights is 3,800 ...I don't know how that makes sense. Now the doctor is saying he did not misinform me. That no matter how many nights I spend before giving birth that i would not be charged unless I exceed the two days after giving birth. Well he was right. But then HE DISCHARGED ME THE FOLLOWING MORNING on his own terms. I was even reluctant about going in to the hospital that night and I told him I wanted to wait until baby was ready to arrive but he insisted. After the monitoring he was the one who decided I wasn't going to be induced and discharged me. I am sorry for this long post but I hope someone will learn something from my experience. Now after all negotiations they brought the bill down to half which I said I will not pay. The case is still hanging cos the highest amount am willing to pay for this is 1k. Please for those that have renewed their visas after child birth do they work with only your zero balance receipts or they still have to search for your payment records in their system? I am asking because they asked me to come next Tuesday for d zero balan
sori favouredb, reali dats y I chose elpaso, tho nt usin doctores got anoda doc bt delsol medical is 1 of d most straightforward, tho m payin 4 dat choice by being a bit stressed,do all my shopping cooking. Nd all maself bt my minds at rest.pls kip negotiating bt if dey dnt budge just pay,so u can enter yankee again.gudluck dear

I flew emirates and the journey was a journey of life, abeg preggy mama's av to be really fit as that journey no b small waka

My dear I am also seriously considering using those guys at ElPaso cos Maryland where I have my mother in-law is quite expensive. They seem to have everything figured out and they respond to inquiries on time. The only snag would be that I would be alone all that time. I wish I could pair with someone. Who has used them before please? What was your experience and how did u manage with accomodations
hello,am at intown in elpaso, there are lots of naija mums here so if. U come being lonely isn't d ish, unless ur forming tho.lool

Please if one is travelling with their local airlines in the US, will they require one to present any fit to fly certificate? Am thinking of going to New York too and take a local airline to denver from there but then hubby asked about the fit to fly thing which I am not sure of.
hello, just to anwser your question,I am at elpaso got in on saturday,I wasn't asked for my fit to fly at the local wing, just dress smartly above all be prayerful.favour is the way..let me share my experince,I left lagos on united,Gods favour reali showed on me,was upgraded to a first class from my economy seat, just lik that, the attendant just came and said ma we have a new seat for you,I was just shaking, enjoyed and ate evrything eatable, got to houston,as soon as they cbp heard baby he took me straight to secondary inspection, after a 1hour30mins delay I was called,my 'burden of proof' was checked, and iw as stamped in..word of advice to any1 who dint got visitin visa while pregnant and did not declare,a preggy woman near me was called into another room, she was almost sent back cos of that,I kept prayin for favour for her..after callling her a liar. And all she was allowed to go with a stern warning, that was just Gods favour,so please if you hid your intentions try another poe not houston.God bless, any intown elpao mum should pls pm me oo!
