PRODUCTION GEOCHEMIST
A leading Oil and Gas Company in Nigeria is currently looking to hire an Experienced Production Geochemist.
Interested Candidates should have the following:
• Degree required in Geology or Petroleum Engineering (reservoir or production) or related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Oil or Gas Industry
• Knowledge of production and reservoir engineering and experience in using geochemistry to characterize various formations.
• Customer focus - Demonstrated effectiveness in determining customer needs, educating customer on solutions, and monitoring progress of initiatives/activities.
• Communication - Ability to effectively communicate technical and project development issues to diverse audience.
• Demonstrated competency in initiating projects and designing technical programs to help solve reservoir and production related problems


PRINCIPAL PETROPHYSICIST

A leading Oil and Gas Company in Nigeria is currently looking to hire a Principal Petrophysicist

Interested Candidates should have the following:
• Degree qualifications in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience or related relevant discipline.
• Extensive experience in Oil and Gas upstream business
• Experience in direct petrophysical interpretation and well evaluation operations or managing such operations.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working in a range of environments, including for example: clastics and carbonates; oil and gas fields; complex mineralogy and fluids; old/Russian style logs and interpretation; E&A, mature and depleted fields; etc.
• Experience of using all available data for petrophysical interpretation, geology, structural data, wireline logs, MWD/LWD, core, SCAL, well test, formation pressure test, fluids analysis, drilling records, mud logs and cuttings reports.
• Experience and expertise in cased hole and production logging as well as open hole interpretation.
• Knowledge of international regulations and standards and good oilfield practice as it relates to well evaluation.
• Experience of setting up and conducting petrophysical studies and working in integrated subsurface teams.
• Knowledge and experience of all types of well evaluation and studies
• Able to communicate, present and express the results of petrophysical studies, make recommendations on petrophysical needs and resource requirements, impact of petrophysics on subsurface evaluation.
• Good people skills in disparate environments.

SENIOR GEOPHYSICIST

A leading Oil and Gas Company in Nigeria is currently looking to hire a Senior Geophysicist

Interested Candidates should have the following:
• Degree in Geology or Geophysics, and target industry experience for 10-15 years.
• Experience with prospect generation and evaluation onshore and offshore.
• Strong fundamental earth science skill set, with expertise in 3D seismic interpretation.
• Computer literate in UNIX-based workstations and seismic interpretation software (Landmark preferred).
• Experience with PC-based applications including Microsoft Office Products.
• Expertise with 3D seismic interpretation and geophysical modeling inversion and rock physics techniques).
• Prior experience with seismic data processing and borehole seismic techniques (e.g. VSPs).
• Experience with AVO analysis, fluid substitution modeling, pore-pressure study analysis, contractor QC and interpretation.
• Experience with prospect risking Rose) and reserves calculation.
• Demonstrate the ability to clearly convey concepts and objectives verbally, in both presentations and in technical reports.
• Ability to Interact with multiple groups within the organization including, land, drilling, operations, accounting and strategic planning.


INTERPHASE ENGINEER
