Victor Moses has joined the long list of people reacting to the shock miss of the Super Eagles from the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Equatorial Guinea. The set-to-be dethroned African champions needed just a home win in their final game of the qualifiers to seal their place at next year’s tournament but unfortunately the Eagles could only struggle to a face saving 2-2 draw which saw them finish third in their qualifying group. “Gutted for the lads but we will bounce back stronger as a nation. Keep believing”. The in-form Stoke City of England star wrote on his twitter account. Many had raised eyebrows on why Moses in the first place was not considered for the double-header against Congo and South Africa. However, according to Coach Stephen Keshi he had an understanding with the on-loan Chelsea star who was only returning from injury when the 25-man Eagles list was drawn. omar22:You did not read what was written? Moses is just returning from injury and he is trying to be a regular at Stoke. He can not afford to get injured and the coach understood him. That is why Moses was not on the squad? 1 Like |
