I saw this Nigerian man's CV online and I was impressed by the strides he has made in the Western World. What do you think?

Dr. Xxxxxxxxx Yyyyyyy
Dr. Xxxxxxxxx Yyyyyyy is the Research Scientist, Plant-Soil Biology, at the ZZZZZ RRRRRR Research Center (ZRRC; Washington, DC), where he coordinates research activities among multiple global partners working to develop novel crop fertilizers and fertilizer delivery strategies, to increase food quantity and quality. Prior to joining ZRRC in 2014, he was a Research Assistant Professor at the Biology Department of AAAA State University (ASU) BBBBB, DDDDD, United States, where, as a co-Principal Investigator on a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)-funded project, he investigated the interaction of plants and plant-associated microbes with metallic nanoparticles of copper, zinc and silver. Between June 2009 and February 2011, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Biological Engineering Department of ASU. In May 2009, he obtained his Doctorate in Natural Sciences (plant-microbe-metal interactions) at the Friedrich Schiller University/International Max Planck Research School, Germany. In September 2005, he obtained his MSc in Plant Molecular Biology from University of Leuven, Belgium; and in 1998, his BS in Crop Production from Imo State xxxxx, Nigeria. Between 1999 and 2003, he was a Research Supervisor at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, Ibadan, Nigeria, where he was involved in crop improvement research. He has published over 40 journal articles and book chapters, most on the interaction of plants and/or plant-associated soil microbes with metallic micronutrients, as well as on plant-microbe interactions. In addition to being a Senior Editor for Journal of vvvv Microbiology, he also is a regular reviewer for over 10 international scientific journals, including prestigious American Chemical Society Journals. He has given numerous scientific presentations in both national and international meetings and conferences, the latest being as a Guest Speaker at the World Fertilizer Congress which held in Brazil, in October 2014. He has served on panel reviews for both the EPA (STAR) and the USDA (nanotechnology in agriculture and food systems). As an Agricultural Biologist, Dr. Yyyyyyy's career interest is in working at the interface of plants, plant-associated soil microbes, and man-made environmental factors to further the understanding of how the reactivity of different environmental factors, including minerals and soil microbes, can be leveraged to improve plant performance, health and nutritional quality.
