DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF SALES COORDINATOR
 A sales coordinator usually works in close conjunction with management to gain an accurate picture of the business in terms of budgets and sales expectations.
 He is responsible for collecting up-to-date information on the status of orders from various company branches and the number of sales attained.
 He will also field telephone and email sales inquiries from suppliers or clients.
 A sales coordinator must also keep accurate records of monthly and annual sales figures on a computer database. Such information is crucial to ensure a business is on track; failing to meet sales figures can have a devastating effect on its profits.
 A sales coordinator uses this information to create detailed sales reports to present to management or potential investors.
 He can also offer guidance to management by identifying weak areas and initiating ideas to adapt future sales strategies.
 Sales coordinators are often the public face of a business, frequently communicating with distributors, company representatives and key clients to resolve any queries as to business practices.
 A sales coordinator also arranges important promotional events such as trade fairs, which are attended by potential clients and intended to enhance a company's reputation and secure future investment.
 A sales coordinator also plays a key role as a negotiator.
 A sales coordinator must retain good working relations with existing suppliers and attempt to secure more favorable contract terms for future business.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS
 Knowledge of basic business principles.
 Knowledge of state contracting laws, regulations and procedures.
 Knowledge of modern office methods, equipment and practices.
 Knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures in an assigned field.
 Ability to gather information regarding the type and specifics of merchandise needed by the agency.
 Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, departmental officials and the public.
 Ability to present detailed reports of findings and recommendations, both orally and in writing.
Qualification
• Such should have BSC/HND in related relevant discipline.
• Must have an experience of 0-3 years.
• Any professional certificate will be an advantage.
