Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has reiterated his committment to picking up the presidential ticket of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the 2015 presidential election, vowing never to step down for anybody in the party.

Atiku, said this in Dutse, Jigawa State, shortly before he and State Governor Sule Lamido retired for a closed door meeting. He went on to add that he would continue running for the office of the president until he succeeds. He also added that his chances of clinching the APC presidential ticket at the party’s December 10 convention, is brighter now than ever.
Atiku reassured that he was ready to support whoever emerges at the primary election to ensure that person wins at the 2015 presidential election.

Atiku’s closed-door meeting with Lamido lasted for one hour 30 minutes at the governor’s personal residence.
