This great movie was directed by Rajkumar Hirani. It was
written by these talented writers Abhijat Joshi and Rajkumar
Hirani. It is based on Five Point Someone – What not to do at
IIT! by Chetan Bhagat. It was released on the 25th of
December 2009. And it runs for 171 minutes. It was a HUGE
success in the box office.
The film stars Aamir Khan , Kareena Kapoor , R. Madhavan,
Sharman Joshi, Omi Vaidya, Parikshit Sahni and Boman Irani.
3 Idiots went on to become the highest-grossing Bollywood
film.
Box Office India declared the film an "All time Blockbuster",
and it is one of the films on their list of "Biggest Blockbusters
Ever in Hindi Cinema".
The film won 40 accolades; among these are six Filmfare
Awards including best film and best director , ten Star Screen
Awards , sixteen IIFA awards and three National Film Awards .
In January 2014, it was nominated in the Best Outstanding
Foreign Language Film category for 37th Japanese Academy
Awards .
This is a great film with a great storyline; it doesn't only reveal
the loopholes in the education system, it also tries to call our
educationists to their right senses. Don't be disturbed that I am
talking about this movie now; I just watched it recently.
Although the comedy aspect of it is a bit exaggerated and dry,
the movie is still great. The comedy aspect of it is as good as
normal, the lesson and didactic part of it is perfect. If you
haven't watched this great movie, you need to do so! You will
learn a lot. I will give this film 4/5. Everything about the movie
is alright, although unknown actors and actresses were used,
it still came out a BANG; kudos to the whole crew and cast of
this movie of all time.
