Advent Sunday is the first day of the liturgical year in the Western Christian churches. It also marks the start of the season of Advent and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the Roman Catholic, Lutheran, Anglican, and Methodist churches the celebrant wears violet-coloured or blue vestments on this day.

***The Liturgical colour is white***.
Zechariah 9:9–10 and Matthew 21:1–9 are always read in the service, and the symbolism of the day is that Christ enters the church.

Advent Sunday is the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day. This is equivalent to the Sunday nearest to St. Andrew's Day, 30 November, and the Sunday following the Feast of Christ the King. It can fall on any date between 27 November and 3 December. When Christmas Day is a Monday, Advent Sunday will fall on its latest possible date. Note that it is also possible to compute the date of Advent Sunday by adding three days to the date of the last Thursday of November; it can also be computed as the Sunday before the first Thursday of December.

As a Cross Bearer, I promise to upload some pics after the service(if I have opportunity).
SHALOM!!!

Ah! So "Bible" is not written in your own Bible...yet you demand to see advent in it.

Dominus vobiscum.

lol. Your thinking is funny though. And so is the way you answered my question. Sadly.
What does Bible, and Sunday have in common with private jet that you equate them together?
And who doesn't know that "Bible" is not found anywhere in the Bible?
And that even "Sunday" as a day of the week isn't mentioned either. I bet you know not why.
Do you even know the meaning of the word "Bible"?
Yet you relate those words to your "advent" season which is more like a pillar or doctrine of your sect.

Lol! I'm not even surprised this thrash is coming from you. You obviously have challenges with reading and comprehension. Go back to the beginning and read again. If you need help, see an English tutor.

Must you only be recognised by opposing a thread? Advent sunday is a sunday that marks the New Year Calendar of Churches. Also, it's a sunday that reminds us the Coming of Jesus Christ. both already came one, and His second coming.
