Do u research bro.our ISR recon aircraft tracked the ship after it was borded by pirates of ur coast..three cml LRE patrool boats in fleet sail with NNs thunder rescued the ship at 9 nautical miles of ur coast.it was safely escorted to our port first before it was realeased to the ghanian authorities..they thanked us for it..i will dig around for the full story in beeg blog and defense web..fact is..the ND piracy has gone drastically down.in the last four yrs..moat vessels that find their way into our EEZ for bunkering are foreign and a large number are caught.there will always be errors but judging from the no of ships dat dock in our ports daily..piracy is a long thrashed story bro.so dont kill urself u know the truth admit it..i guess right now the NNS thunder and centenary just sailed thry u waters unchallenged

the problem i have with you ghanians is that, you always find it had to maintain your argument along the line of reason. The nigerian coast is not filled with pirates only a ignorant fellow that know nothing about his geo politics can make such claims. Now this is the problem Nigeria is faced with, The whole gulf of guinea is infested with pirate and Nigerian interest and trade activities contribute about 80% of all activities going on in the gulf of guinea, meaning Nigeria earn more from the gulf of guinea more than any other gulf of guinea country so it is only reasonable that the western media call it the nigerian gulf some even go far enough to refer to it as the nigerian coast. So with what i ve jst written it should be clear that Nigeria have a leadership role to play in the security of a gulf on which the economy of the richest African nation is dependent. So take for example what will it serve Ghana by wasting its money to protect the gulf of guinea for Nigeria. When it understand only too well that Nigeria makes more money from this gUlf and therefore have a bigger responsibility to protect and secure its interest around the gulf. In my own opinion Ghana with its present economy and financial situation will be making a policy that is not in her interest if she maintain the largest and most effective navy in the Gulf of guinea cus poor Ghana will only end up protecting nigerian oil tankers and business cruisers. So anybody still at this time shouting that Ghana have the best navy in west Africa is a political neophyte.

Bless You GHKWAME1!!!the ghana navy is working and does not make noise cos they know they have more grounds to cover.. They have been spotted and Awarded for that. And some people can't just appreciate! Cos you use satellite to find one ship they feel they deserve it. Two of the four newly commissioned Ghana
Navy vessels have arrested a foreign Vessel,
Merchant Tanker, MADINA.
The vessel loaded with fuel is reported to have
been stolen from Nigeria.
The Ghana Navy received hint from its Nigerian
counterparts about the vessel and zoomed in to
make the arrest.
Director of Public Relations at the Ghana Armed
Forces, Colonel M’Bawine Atintande told Joy
News the vessel, MT MADINA was arrested on
Thursday at the Saltpond oil fields where it was
transferring fuel to another vessel.
He said they will hand over the ship to the port
authorities and legal action will be taken against
the perpetrators by the appropriate authorities.
He said armed guards have been placed on alert
at the oil fields to protect the vessels.
