Why PDP May Lose South West To APC– Buruju Kashamu by Johnnyessence(m): 7:11am On Dec 01, 2014 |
The chairman Organisation and mobilisation of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South West, Buruji Kashamu, has said that the crisis in the Ogun State chapter of the party may pave the way for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to sweep the South West in the 2015 polls. Kashamu, who sounded this warning during a press briefing in Abeokuta yesterday, also warned the national chairman of the party, Adamu Mu’azu and the national organising secretary, Abubakar Mustapha, to stay clear of Ogun State PDP. According to Kashamu, the duo are scheming to force the former Speaker, House of Representatives, Hon. Dimeji Bankole, on the party as its gubernatorial candidate for Ogun State. He said the call to cancel the House of Assembly aspirants primaries held in the state on Saturday will weaken the party. He said, “They ( Mu’azu and Mustapha) would weaken the party with internal squabbles and give way for the APC to win in not just Ogun State but elsewhere in the South West.” He noted that any attempt to tamper with the results of the primary would result in litigation. He said, “But we wish to warn that any attempt to change the authentic delegates list (the CTC of which we have obtained from INEC and PDP National Headquarters) would result serious litigation and it would be clear that the National Chairman and the National Organising Secretary do not want us to win in Ogun State. We have attached the letter by our counsel, Dr. Alex Iziyon (SAN), to the PDP Headquarters, Abuja.” leadership.ng/news/392373/pdp-may-lose-south-west-apc-buruju-kashamu |

There is nothing PDP can do about it anyway. They can't defeat Amosun in Ogun and can't win presidency in the SW. 3 Likes |
