Suspected members of Boko Haram in the early hours of this morning stormed Damatutu, the Yobe State capital, shooting at anybody on sight. The heavily armed gunmen were said to have first attacked students at the Yobe State University located in Damaturu, before taking the attack into the town. As of now, Damaturu is boiling as the insurgents have been engaged in a fierce shoot-out by security operatives.
