I was chatting with a white folk online and the kind of questions he asked me were irritating..Are you from africa?i heard you guys rear lions?is there stil ebola/hiv?do you have your personal antelope?how are you surviving the war...And i was like Oga Not all Africans are black, not all Africans are hungry, not all Africans are in war, not all Africans have AIDS and Africa is not a country.

Sorry to say, but most white people really look at Africa as a "country". All part of them not having any interest in other cultures and being (more then a little) racist towards anything that is not white/european... Speaking as a white European woman, I really get annoyed by the ignorance some people display when talking about the "country Africa"....
