I want to use this medium to welcome all who speaks German language (deustch). Lets team up and make the thread educative and interactive. I am not too perfect, but lets do it. Before i start, i will tell you the reason why you should learn German. Tuition in most university for undergraduate is free, but you must be able to speak little german. zhukafa: We have 3 more and i didnot know if you have this letters on your laptop it is Ää, Öö, Üü Ää you can write it also as ae = ä Öö you can write it also as oe = ö Üü you can write it also as ue = ü when you cannot see it it is a with two dots on it the same with o and u |

nora544:am not using a laptop to type now, am making use of a mobile phone , so some of the letters with umlaut might be difficult for me to type, but I shall explain where need be. |

Let's quickly look at the numbers. 1 is EIns 2 is zwei ( here z is pronounced "t", as in tiv- eye) 3 is drei as in dry 4 is Vier as in fear ( v is pronounced f) 5 is Funf ( there should be a double dot ontop the "u" , in german , its called umlaut) 6 is sechs 7 is sieben ( pronounced zeebin) 8 is acht 9 is nuen 10 is tehn ( pronounced tin) 11 is elf 12 is zwolf (remember I earlier that you that in german, "z" is pronounced "t", so its twolf) 13 is dreitehn 14 is viertehn 15 is funftehn (please not that there is an umlaut on alphabet "U") 16 is sechtehn 17 is siebtehn 18 is achtehn 19 is neuntehn 20 is zwanzig. Please I want to know if you are following. So, what would be the pronounciation is 20, from the above I have taught you. |

Days of the week Montag is Monday Dienstag is Tuesday Mittwog is Wednesday Donnerstag is Thursday Frietag is Friday Sammstag is Saturday Sonntag is Sunday Please note that in pronouncing wednesday, the w is pronounce v. crowns2: When you need help no problem my native language is german you mean der die das = the in english der is masculine = male die is feminine = female das is neuter I will search if i can finde something that I can explane you about the grammar in german 1 Like |
