Location of this job is Magodo GRA (after Ketu), so applicants must have close proximity to the area. The company is a security services company. Salary is N80k plus

Summary
The Training Manager designs, plans, develops, and implements of training and professional development programs to enhance the skills of staff throughout all levels of the organization and ensure that the organization's human capital development plans are in conjunction with business and succession planning needs. The Training Instructor will research new training techniques and suggest enhancements to existing training programs to meet contract and departmental needs.

Job Description

The tasks in this position include but not limited to:

Develop and deliver training programs that enhance group and participants ability to meet business objectives and improve performance.
Develop and deliver training to Operations employees, marketing, sales, drivers and administrative staff.
Determine training needs from business contract, customer feedback, sales and marketing analysis, and business objectives.
Develop and improve key process measures that track training outcomes.



Job Requirement :
Confers with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedure, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
Formulates teaching outlines and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
Prepares training videotapes and/or films; maintains library of video and film training aids.
Prepares and distributes training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids; sets up audiovisual equipment and makes presentations when necessary.
Coordinates training schedule with training and hiring demands.
May contract with vendors for employee participation in outside training programs.
Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, and legal compliance.
Maintains training files.
Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies, and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.
May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Experience
BA degree in police science, criminal justice, or a related discipline with a minimum of ten years overall experience in progressive training responsibilities with at least three years in a management role. Prior military or civilian law enforcement experience required.

Strategic Thinking - Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals; continual attention to detail, establishes priorities and meets deadlines. Adapt strategy to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands and rapidly be able to assimilate new information.

Professionalism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments.

Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations; Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees and general public

Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid, logical conclusions, then make recommendations and suggest changes based on such reasoning.

Other Skills and Abilities - Ability to accurately interpret complex documents and contract requirements, Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Must be well organized, able to meet hard deadlines and time schedules.
