EKSU Student Emerges Winners Of Airtel Talent Show by CLOUDGOSSIPS(m): 2:33pm On Dec 05, 2014
A 200 level undergraduate student of Ekiti State University, ALALADE OLOLADE UTHMAN has been crowned the regional champion (South West) in the AIRTEL ONE MIC STAND competition which was held among universities in South West Nigeria.

Master Ololade, a talented music writer and singer is a bidding talent whose rap style is legendary and is similar to popular Nigerian idol, Olamide has been rewarded for his God given talent.

The faculty of Arts student studying psychology represented EKSU at the regional talent show where he competed with other talents from universities across Southwest Nigeria and came out on top with his beautiful lyrics and style.

Alalade Uthman also won a KIA Car for his effort speaking after his victory, the upcoming artiste said he has managed to combine studies with his love for music and dedicated the award to the university.

In the comedy category of the Talent show, another EKSU undergraduate, Ajagbe Dolapo Adedayo a. k. a. MC Prof Old Skull merged champions winning a one year endorsement deal with Airtel.

Both winners have also been named as Ambassadors of Airtel in the Southwest. Receiving the students, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), Prof. Victor Adeoluwa commended them for their spectacular performances adding that they have imprinted the name of the university in Gold.
