For years, when Nigeria was selling oil at record prices of over $ 100 per barrel, translating to over $ 30 in excess revenue, Nigerian leaders, Nigerians and the specific Nigerians in the Delta areas or SS with massive oil spills the UNEP report recommended an initial $ 1 B for clean-up of the environment did NOTHING! No, they did something actually: LOOT as much money as they could find, bunker as much oil, up to $ 2 B per month, the current clueless president did absolutely nothing but hire unemployed and poor Nigerians as his TANoid agents. Today, oil is at $ 60 per barrel, where will Nigeria now have money to clean up the oil spills?

If you have answers to this question, share because I doubt this government will do a damn thing about it! If the Delta or SS likes, let oil cover even the residential houses, they are only interested in selling oil even for $ 50 / barrel and looting the entire money! Meanwhile the people most affected, the SS, the Jonathanians are deceiving themselves! Who will suffer environmental degradation, sicknesses and illnesses because of being marooned in a shitty corner of Nigeria where even the air you breath is toxic to the human system?

Oh I see - like your son, you don't give a damn! Hahahhaa....

If GEJ was to spend a large chunk of our money cleaning up the delta, the Nigerian economy would come to a standstill, he would be accused of only caring about his people. The issue would be so politicised by APC you'd think GEJ was only president to the Niger deltan people.
I'd personally support the Deltans if they stop the federal govt from milking them until the environmental issues are dealt with.

Don't expect the Bukohari leader to do anything though, if he can't help his almajiri brothers how could he help others?
