Answer is 17

How I got my answer?

The series: 2, 5, 10

This is a simple arithmetic progression.

Let common difference be "d"

from the series provided above we can see that the next number in the series is d + 2

5 -2 = 3
3+2 = 5

10 - 5 = 5

Therefore, the next number in the series is 10 + (d + 2) where d = 5

Answer = 10 + (5+2)

= 17
