I realy don't know if this is a national problem but users of MTN under Zone tariff plan have been (and are still being) charged 40K per second as call rate for approx 2 weeks now.
When customer care is contacted, MTN declares they are aware of the "problem" and are currently "working" on it. That has been the story for days now.

I'll like to know if same is being experienced elsewhere.

having the same ish here in port harcourt, 40k/s as against 8k/s i was enjoying previously. Anyways, i'm now รค full time glo user since mtn planned to milk me dry. Glo bounce rocks.

meanwhile i borrowed airtime from mtn and i have no intention to recharge the sim next year. My pound of flesh that is. Nonsense!

Lord knows how much credit I burnt in the name of making calls. I had to migrate.
At time like this I wonder what the NCC is for. This exploitation shouldn't be tolerated.
