These photos are from PremiumTimes... but apparently the weapons are for French Peace-Keeping Forces in Chad... say the Russians! “Located in g.Kano Russian plane chartered by the French peacekeeping mission in Chad and transporting its property,” says the statement in Russian. “Military equipment on board aircraft in g.Kano route from the CAR in Chad, allegedly owned by the French peacekeeping mission.” But the Nigerian security forces earlier this weekend seized the plane and released this statement today: “An Antonov Cargo aircraft carrying some military hardware was arrested at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in the early hours of Saturday 6th Dec. 2014,” reads the statement. “Investigation is ongoing to determine the content and the origin of the aircraft.
