That's nice. I applied to the same department but Public Administration for fall too
You mean the MPA? Why that? And from what i read on the website and the info frm the advisor you don't need a proposed supervisor before you apply. Whats your Bsc course? Do you have enough working experience?

I read sociology at the university. I asked one of the graduate chairs, mrs Joan grace if I can apply. She told me I could. You don't need to have enough working experience to apply. I submitted my article, I have like 2yrs working experience. So I think I am good to go. Have they told you when the decision will b made?

Okay that's cool, from my research i tot it's specifically meant for those with long years of working experience. Yea,the grad sec told me April or early may.

There is no rule that says applications must be made to 1 school per time. If you can afford it, apply to 4 - 5 schools per time. It increases hope, allows for better permutations and reduces tension. You only have a few $CAD to loose.

Not really sure o. Since USD is @ N204/N205 in the black market and N197-N200 for card transactions, CAD should be within the N170-N175 range already; when my app fee was paid for 2 days back, it was @ N164 or so.

Masters of Architecture

Fall 2015

Applied to Ubc for fall 2014 last year, I was refused admission, it was too late and there wasn't any school open anymore for architecture.

So this year, I applied to 3 schoolS

University or Manitoba

Ryerson University

University of Waterloo

Hopefully, one of these schools gives me admission. Then I can start the process. Fingers crossed. Would keep updating here.

Google and that's what you'd be charged if you transact online

Google isn't your friend when it comes to matters of exchange rate.

If you may, search for the current exchange rate of dollar on Google - N191.30 whereas Diamond Visa Card is currently billing N196.13 and other banks are as high as N198-N200 and the black market sells for N204-N205 currently; Google is always way cheaper than the actual card rate.

A good point to note is that Google doesn't control FORex EXchange and/or international trade.

If in doubt, I'll conduct a CAD transaction and tell you the actual rate.

Cheers.

This is so not true!!! Checked Google yesterday to convert 2500 CAD to naira and it shows 381,776. Then immediately I used my Gtb card. Gtb charged me 398,384 after the transaction so you are totally wrong!!!
