Hello Nigerian Youths!!!

We are Youth Ballot Evolution (YBE), a non-governmental organization comprised of concerned youth who seek a change in the mindset of the present-day Nigerian youth. We have noticed with disappointment that a lot of Nigerian youth are too docile when it comes to matters that greatly affect them, especially in the area of crucial decisions in electing leaders.

The Nigerian youth constitute the largest percentage of the voting population of registered voters. It's a pity when we come across youth who say things like:"Whether we vote or not, our votes won't count." "There will be rigging, but there's nothing we can do." I want to tell you something, we can make our votes count, politicians capitalize on the fact that most people do not turn out to vote, hence the freedom to carry out rigging acts. If we the youths come out en-masse to vote the right people and stay to make sure our votes count, then things will surely go well.

We believe in the unity of Nigeria though tribe, tongues and religion may differ.

We want a detribalised leadership whose approach to governance is all inclusive

We desire a visionary leader that empowers the youths and provides an enabling environment to harness their great potentials

To all the Nigerian Youths who believe in these ideals, come with us on a journey of self-discovery as we present our agenda in facts and figures. Together lets all say no to BALLOT IGNORANCE

We have been getting messages from various people on our facebook page about not being able to get their voters card due to various reasons, hence we took upon ourselves to collate these names and head over to INEC HQ in abuja to submit these names on December 12, 2014. We have officially written to INEC intimating them of our planned march.

If you are a youth in Abuja, interested and concerned about the welfare of youth in Nigeria, please join us in this march as we aim to kick out ballot ignorance.
