I did bis daily and it was cool so I opt in for monthly.
I received the successful message and 1k was deducted.the edge capitalized and bb logo appeared by 3g
I browsed for a while only to discover I have been surfing on my airtyme.
The bis status shows not connected.icustomer care says its ok but I still can't use it.
I insert the dim in another bb and it worked fine.
Pls guyz what do I do on the phone to make it work.

I used opera mini and phone browser.

It should be the phone browser.. Cuz opera mini automatically switches frm TCP netwrk to BIS when u subscribe...

MTN does not support streaming with BIS, so if u were watching videos via ur phone browser, then expect ur money to be deducted.. By d way try to un tick this in blue from the screenshot below.. Goto ur browser, press the BB button.. And click on option and check for this below


P.S: try a hard reset on ur phone too... I hope this helps.
