fayemi or fashola is a joker. that can give anybody on planet earth a run for their money. Rocha's will give GMB d required balancing needed for a good campaign. all in all, APC is in a better position than PDP ahead of 2015.

Oshomole will make much sense, going by his impact in Edo State and its meager resources.

It will make sense to have a young man or woman who can represent us in the world with distinction. Fashola cannot stand up to Tinubu, and he shows that he can be corrupted. Oshibajo is learned and smart but this is out of his league, he is not politically matured, and he is unable to stand next to dynamic world leaders. The others are not capable of managing a revolution, that will challenge the corrupt status quo. There is not a single person on the list that deserve to be VP of a country like Nigeria.
At the end of the day, the criminal leaders of APC will find one way or the other to give Tinubu what he always wanted - The VP spot.

Buhari faces the age old Nigerian political conundrum of finding a peace and balance ensuring candidate. Nigeria whether you like to admit it or not is drawn across ethnic and religious lines and this cuts across politics as well. This means as a default he should pick someone who is preferably a non-northerner and non-muslim. However doing this would immediately reduce his chances simply because there are not many candidates that fill that bracket. The second problem Buhari has is that GEJ has an unmatchable war chest in funds to fight and possibly rig the elections.

Whilst many people are tired of a GEJ presidency and would like change many more are sceptical about Buhari's alleged religious inclinations. This is however buttressed by the genuine belief held by many Nigerians that Buhari is an honest man and on paper would be a better leader but tribe and religion still comes into peoples head. In my opinion Buhari's only realistic chance lies in picking Fashola. Let me explain.

Fashola: Has enormous political capital(good will, pedigree, etc). He will pull the majority SW votes not just on tribal grounds but because of his acclaimed good works in Lagos. It is known world wide that he is an effective leader. He will pull many SE votes on account of good will and trust due to the Lagos experience. Although he is a muslim,many non-muslims will cast a Buhari vote on account of Fashola inclusion,because when you think of Fashola you think "effective leader". When you think of Buhari you think "honest muslim leader".

If all else fails he should still pick Fashola on a Mathematical basis. Of the whole Nigerian population Hausas are 21%,Yorubas are 21%,Igbos are 18%,Fulani are 11% =71%. The remaining 29% accounts for other tribes.

Considering Buhari will pull majority Hausa votes, and majority Yoruba votes(caveat with Fashola) and the fact that there will be other votes,he will stand a realistic chances of unseating GEJ. Also bear in mind that APC rules powerful states like Lagos and Cross River and a good number of the SW states.

I personally have no leaning and may the best man win.

Politics is a game of numbers and imho Fashola is the person likely to garner the most votes for APC as VP candidate.
A lot of pple are even unaware he's a muslim. He is seen as a technocrat and a performer. He practically guarantees SW votes. And he is most likely to attract the undecided votes in all the regions because of his perceived good works in Lagos. I've been to SE and SS and I hear pple commending BRF and wishing their Governors were more like him.

Oshiomole- Also in with a shout, also seen as a performer. Very likely to guarantee votes from Edo and parts of the SW. Extremely popular however with the Chairmanship of APC zoned to the SS, this might rule him out.

Amaechi- a decent performer but a lot of pple feel his 2nd term was spent fighting GEJ rather than governing his State well. Doesn't have the pull of the above 2. He faces a battle to retain control of his state sef.

Fayemi- technocrat but not very popular outside SW (to my knowledge)

Owelle Rochas- Brilliant orator, good performer. Loved in the parts of the North. Unfortunately a lot of Igbos see him as not being a true Igbo cos of his time spent in the North and distrust of APC in the SE. Will pull votes from the SE but not a clean sweep as required

Ezekwesili- not a card carrying member of APC (to my knowledge) Technocrat, her stance in BBOG has been heartwarming. Unlikely to pull in the undecided votes tho. For some strange reason, not well loved enough in the SE.
